Newsday, 05-Aug-2009: FASHION designer Michael Raghunanan is the new holder of the Miss World Trindad and Tobago franchise. Raghunanan who operates Michael’s Vogue Designs is a member of the Fashion Entrepreneurs of Trinidad and Tobago (FETT) group and his designs were featured at the 2009 TT Fashion Week and the 2009 Caribbean Fashion Week. And while Raghunanan is now the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago franchise holder, the Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago franchise remains in abeyance after well-known style guru Peter Elias decided to relinquish both the Miss World and Universe franchises.
