The "Gray Lady" we refer to is the austere and revered "New York Times." Never in a million years would we have imagined that they would publish a full page ad on the Miss Universe Pageant, and in color at that.This is simply not their style. But with ad revenues down at most newpapers, it is not surprising. The sponsors for the ad must have paid a gazillion dollars but we like the change. Onto Miss Universe Month!
