Mackenzie Carr of Vernonia, Oregon, was crowned Miss Rodeo America 2012 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011. Runners-up were Jamie Udell, Miss Rodeo Utah; Brittany Slaton, Miss Rodeo California; and Alyssa Morrison, Miss Rodeo Kansas. Over 25 women competed in pageant, which includes a horsemanship preliminary.
