Attention all rising sophomores!
Enter our caption contest and win!
All rising sophomores may receive a month's worth of free lunch tickets, good only at the Beauty School cafeteria by submitting the winning caption to this photo from rehearsals at Miss Universe 1957. Judges for this caption contest are Dean Di Maggio and Lorraine, our Beloved Librarian, who was actually there in Long Beach during the pageant, visiting one of her friends, Leona, and working as a part-time hairdresser for the pageant, assigned to Miss Italy. The winner will be photographed with Madge, our Cafeteria Lady. Please note the following rules and restrictions apply: 1) all Beauty School staff are ineligible to compete; and 2) because of corporate sponsorship obligations, instituted circa 1966, the only beverage that may be purchased with the free lunch tickets is Royal Crown Diet Cola.
