Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 beauty pageant will be held 30 May in The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. New beauty queen will be complete in 2009 Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Universe 2009 , the 58th Beauty Universe Pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza , from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008 , will crown her successor in the event.

Novel Koh Yunn Choo, 24, from Penang is a Banking Supervisor with a Bachelor Financial Engineering (Hons) from the Multimedia University in Cyberjaya.

Capable of working under pressure and a team player, Novel values honesty, commitment and courtesy towards others. Describing herself as proactive and willing to learn, she says she is definitely an achievement–oriented person and capable of adapting to changes.

Novel enjoys meeting people, sight-seeing, swimming, playing the piano and basketball. Her father, Koh Tong Sen is a developer and her mother, Ooi Mooi Keng is a headmistress. She is the second child and has three sisters and a brother.
