CHANTELLE CHUAH SHEE PENG - Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 Finalist

Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 beauty pageant will be held 30 May in The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. New beauty queen will be complete in 2009 Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Universe 2009 , the 58th Beauty Universe Pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza , from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008 , will crown her successor in the event.

Describing herself as quirky and witty, 24-year old Chantelle Chuah, always strives for excellence in whatever she does and frequently challenges her own competencies and capabilities.

A former ballerina and award-winning Latin and Ballroom dance competitor, Chantelle inadvertently landed her first modelling stint when she was studying in the United Kingdom. After winning the Miss Model of the World title in 2007, she represented Malaysia at the Miss Model of the Year 2007 competition in China and succeeded in making into the top 15. At the subsequent International Model of the Year competition in Korea, Chantelle emerged in the top ten and was even awarded the best in evening gown.

This talented multi-tasker and auditor is also an active member in Toastmaster Club and has briefly appeared on the popular television game show, Deal or No Deal Season 2.
