The new Miss and Mister La Rioja 2012 were elected last night during a gala, televised event at the Logroño Municipal Auditorium. Miss La Rioja 2012 is Nazaret Castro, 22. Runners-up for the Miss La Rioja 2012 title were Teresa Calvo and Lorena Gil. Mister La Rioja 2012 is Juan Reinares, 22 and a snowboarding fan. Mister La Rioja 2012 runners-up were Igor Buriak y José Alfonso Sánchez.
