Monday, February 16th, is Presidents' Day in the USA. We thought it was a perfect time to share this photo of the very first Miss Teen USA, Ruth Zakarian, in a very patriotic mode. Now what is the connection? Well, Ruth , who now goes by the name Devon Pierce, represented New York, which is where George Washington, our first president was inaugurated. In honor of the holiday, classes are cancelled, there will be no mail deliveries, but the cafeteria will be open featuring generous portions of cherry pie.
