One of Beauty School's very favorite contests is happening soon - and in a new format! The finalists for the first Concurso do Rei e Rainha do Carnaval Multicultural do Recife have been selected - 13 women and 13 men. On February 26, they will compete for the title of Rei and Rainha, during Recife's Baile Municipal. Unlike previous contests, however, the contestants will not win based on their dancing, but on a composite of factors, and will be king and queen of the entire carnaval, not just the baile.
