Odile Gertze is the new Miss Namibia 2010
Odile at a 2007 fashion show in South AfricaNew Era, 02-aug-2010: Odile Gertze was crowned Miss Namibia on Saturday at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino. Venantia Otto was crowned first princess, with Steny Schoeman second princess. Gertze’s view that communication between different stakeholders in the tourism sector will lift Namibia on the path to prosperity convinced the judges to announce the 21-year-old the country’s 30th national asset in 2010/11. All three beauties are from Windhoek. South Africa’s Vicky Sampson swept the audience with smash hit ‘Afrikan Dream’. Presenters were international model Michelle McLean and actor and singer Stefan Ludick.
