Tara Talbot, 27, of Queensland, Australia, is the new 2011 Rose of Tralee. She won the title hours ago during a glittering televised gala from Tralee, Ireland. She is a teacher, passionate about human rights, and a massive Liverpool FC fan. Talbot’s father is from Dublin and her mother is from the Philippines. She is the 53rd titleholder of the coveted Rose of Tralee crown.
