The deans were in a meeting deciding dorm room assignments when the unmistakable sound of our beloved Librarian Lorraine's heels could be heard clicking down the hall. Without even knocking, she burst into Dean Di Maggio's office in a rather agitated state. She blurted out, " I was reading my TV Guide and discovered the Miss America pageant is going to be held in Las Vegas. When did this happen? Las Vegas has no water, no boardwalk, no salt water taffy. Why wasn't I told about this?" She slapped down this photo from the golden days of Atlantic City and said "These were the good old days." And with that stormed out. The photo she chose is a hoot and we share it with you here. It's the Lobster Waitresses from lord only knows, when they won first prize during the Miss America parade on the boardwalk.
